Hi, I just wanted to know what holster set up you prefer for single stack? I saw somewhere that you like the Safariland 5188. However I didn’t know if you use the paddle attachment or the 567BL belt loop attachment? Thanks in advance for your comments.

Dan,
I do use a 5188 with the belt loop attachment 1 or 2 .250 spacers between the hanger and holster. One of the nice things about the holster is that it comes standard with both, so you can try them and pick which one works best for you. It’s also very easy to adjust the distance between the gun and your body with the different spacers. I like my holster to be as far away from my body as legal under the rules during competition, but the holster will also work very well for concealed carry if you leave the spacers out, and get it closer to your body.

BJ: Saw you on the cover of the Nov/Dec 2011 issue of Front Sight magazine. I noticed that the shorts you were wearing have magazine pouches on both left and right side. Could you please tell me the brand and/or distributor? Thanks…
Hi Chris, there are the Woolrich Elite Series lightweight shorts. They work great! If you check their website, they have a list of dealers that you can check.

Is it true that you had Tactical Solutions make you up some .22 2011 aluminum conversions? If so do you have any left and how much.
